Services provided by Aeronautical Institute
Aeronautical Institute “Moma Stanojlovic” offers services of overhaul, modernization and repair to all users having armament and military equipment resources, which are in the Institute’s overhaul program.
In the field of maintaining aircrafts from the civilian register supported by the Civil Aviation Directorate, according to (Deo-145), the Institute is certified for maintenance of aircrafts ‘Utva-75’ and helicopters ‘Gazelle’ SA-341 and SA – 342, as well as aircraft engines Astazou III B, Astazou XIV H, Lycoming IO 360 and Lycoming AEIO 540).
In the process of providing services like production of spare parts, assemblies, special tools, testing devices and radionic devices, the following technologies are used:
- cutting treatment (lathes, milling machines, grinders, drillers, honing tools),
- treatment by cutting, sectioning and perforation (scissors, band saws, strainers and foil moulding machines),
- eroding treatment (electrical discharge machine with electrode and electrical discharge machine with wire),
- welding (arc welding – classic, autogenous, in CO2 protective zone and argon protective zone),
- preparing surfaces for protection and regeneration (sand plating, grinding),
- electric-chemical and chemical protection of elements and assemblies (hard chrome plating, porous chrome plating, cadmium plating, copper plating, nickel plating, tin plating, anode oxidation in sulfuric acid, silver plating, browning and phosphating),
- protection of parts by coloring (standard coloring and camouflage coloring),
- production of raw rubber smelts,
- production of elements and assemblies by vulcanization of rubber, rubber-metal and rubber-canvas.
