Due to flourishing of algae and presence of cyanobacteria in water supply network in Uzice, near the end of December in the previous year, using water from the Vrutci Lake became forbidden.

Afterwards, the Armed Forces of Serbia, with the help of workers at the “Jedinstvo” factory in Uzice, built a new water supply system in only 18 days, for supplying Uzice with water, from Susicko Vrelo to Stapari village.
