Training on Lazar 3 and BRDM-2MS

Intensive training on Lazar 3 armoured combat vehicle and BRDM-2MS armoured reconnaissance vehicle is carried out in part of the Army units.
Training on BRDM-2MS vehicles in the newly formed armoured reconnaissance battalion is carried out at the Rujnik training ground near Niš, while members of the 2nd Army Brigade are trained in the use of the Lazar 3 combat vehicle at the Base South and at the Borovac training ground.
As part of the training, members of the Army are practising procedures in observing and collecting data, organising patrols and ambushes, with practical verification of the theoretical knowledge gained.
Training in the training areas and weapons ranges was preceded by classroom and indoor training, during which crews and staff acquired theoretical knowledge of vehicle and armament systems and subsystems, as well as hands-on training in the maintenance and proper use of the assets.
Experience in the use of vehicles during the training is excellent, users have gained confidence in the capabilities and reliability of vehicles and their subsystems, and in the upcoming shootings they will be able to see firsthand the firepower of new combat assets of the Serbian Armed Forces.
