Firings from Naval Weapons at the "Titel" Training Ground

Members of the River Flotilla units and the cadets of the 141st class of the Military Academy (River Units Module) conducted both individual and joint naval artillery range firing at targets on the water and on land, at the “Titel” training ground on the river Tisa.

The Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin attended the training and firing practice at the “Titel” training ground. As Minister Vulin pointed out, today, the members of the River Flotilla demonstrated once again a high level of training, motivation and a good working order of equipment.

- I am especially glad that all the cadets have proved that they spent their time at the Military Academy well, that they are well prepared and that they are ready to take on their first officer duties. I am very satisfied with how the new commanders of the ships of the River Flotilla performed, which shows that the arrival of new generations is successful and that equally exceptional officers and sailors are coming and that they will be even more exceptional in the future. The River Flotilla is an important part of the Army and no part of our territory can be undefended, just as the skies or land cannot be undefended, so our rivers and our lakes will not be without adequate defence - said Minister Vulin.

An individual ship and a group of ships from 30 mm cannons, 30 mm grenade launchers and 20 mm four-barreled cannons acted on the "Titel" straining ground, followed by a parade of River Flotilla ships.
