Following the tour of the training content, Minister Vulin underlined that the Serbian Armed Forces were getting equipped and growing stronger in all their segments.

— Our Special Brigade certainly is one of the most significant elements of the armed forces and it is that part of our armed forces which should respond first to a strike and who are here to respond to terrorist threats as well, and to protect our people wherever it is needed. In keeping with the order and instructions of Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, the Serbian Armed Forces pay special attention to our Special units, and specially allocate material investments, and make sure that their salaries are higher than the salaries of other members, but on the other hand they make sure that their obligations are significantly greater than the obligations of other members of the armed forces — Minister Vulin stressed.

According to him, during today’s visit they were assured of their superior competence, and they were assured that they use the latest equipment in conformity with the highest world standards.

Commander of the Special Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces Brigadier General Miroslav Talijan pointed out that the visit was an opportunity to perceive all the complexity of selective paratrooper training and see the readiness of attenders who had successfully passed all parts of training on the ground and necessary tests, with parachute jumps which they were yet to make.

— Along with seeing this most complex type of training in our armed forces, we had an opportunity to see remaining portion of training for alpine groups engaging emplaced facility and for rescue in case of accidents — General Talijan stressed adding that a separate part of the visit was dedicated to touring infrastructural facilities that were important for the work of the unit.

After report provided by Commander of the 63rd Parachute Battalion Lieutenant Colonel Boban Georgijev and touring Parachute Training Centre, where the unit members demonstrated parachute folding and work on binding system, Minister Vulin and General Mosjilović attended preparation of paratroopers for a jump in the framework of selective training for reconnaissance units, military police units and “Kobre”. Also, the paratroopers demonstrated descend along a climbing rope in urban conditions as part of their summer training.
