SAF continue today to render assistance to snowed-in population

The members of the Serbian Armed Forces continue today to render assistance to the population in the parts of the country affected by snowfall.
Upon the request of the Headquarters for emergency situations, two water tanks have been sent to the municipality of Sjenica for water supply of the population. The water tanks from the Army units have been engaged for the needs of the population in the village of Krajiste.
Besides water supply of population, the Army engineering units are still engaged on clearing the roads in the Ground Safety Zone and the part of the state border with Bulgaria and Macedonia.
During the previous day the machines from the 3rd Army Brigade cleared the roads from snowfall in the community of Lipovica in the municipality of Lebane whereas in the municipality of Bujanovac the machines of the 4th Army Brigade cleared the roads in several villages in the community of Muhovac.
