Minister Vulin Visits Members of the 63rd Parachute Battalion

Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin has visited today members of the 63rd Parachute Battalion of the Special Brigade training in the winter conditions in the vicinity of Aleksinac.

Minister Vulin: Serbia can be secure, stable, and peaceful when it has such an army


After the visit, Minister Vulin pointed out that members of the 63rd Parachute Battalion, as well as members of the Special Brigade, are certainly our most elite formation and people who show every day that the state of Serbia can be secure, stable, and peaceful when there are such people and when it has such an army.
 
– We will take care of their training and improve the quality of their equipment, but what is certainly most important, we will take care that the quality of people in the Special Brigade, as well as the quality of the people in the 63rd Parachute Battalion, remain at such a high level – Minister Vulin emphasized.
 
Members of the 63rd Parachute Battalion of the Special Brigade of the Army have presented today the way of planning and organizing segments of training in winter conditions carried out under conditions of low temperatures and on a harsh terrain, as well as work in the area of the base, and in the final part of the presentation they performed shooting from small arms.
 
Today's visit was attended by Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Command of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Major General Ilija Todorov, Deputy Commander of the Army, Brigadier General Vladeta Baltić, and Commander of the Special Brigade, Brigadier General Miroslav Talijan.
