The Official Visit to Greece

Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović stays in an official visit to the Republic of Greece upon the invitation of the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Christos Christodoulou.

At the meeting of two Chiefs of General Staff, the current politico-security situation in the region and world was discussed, as well as the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Hellenic Armed Forces.

The meeting reaffirmed the readiness of both parties to improve the cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, and primarily in the field of training, joint military exercises and advanced training. Both sides attach great importance to joint activities within the European Union Battle Group HELBROC. Besides Serbia and Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania and Ukraine are also a part of HELBROC.

The Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces also had the meeting with the Greek Defence Minister, Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, during which, the traditional friendly relations between our nations and the armed forces were confirmed, with the support for further strengthening of defence cooperation,

During his stay in Greece, General Mojsilovic also visited the Hellenic National Defence General Staff Operations Center and will visit the Special Forces Training Center.
