A three-week military medical course for the members of the Iraqi Armed Forces started today in a military service training company within Logistics Training Centre in Niš.

A three-week military medical course for the members of the Iraqi Armed Forces started today in a military service training company within Logistics Training Centre in Niš.

The aim of the course, which is being conducted after a three-week training in the German city of Koblenz, is the training of the Iraqi Armed Forces members within the Defence Capacity Building Initiative (DCBI) of the Iraqi Armed Forces.

One part of the training is conducted by the instructors from the military service training company, and the other part by the medical doctors from the Military Hospital in Niš. Members of the German Armed Forces and Belgian Armed Forces are going to participate in the course as observers.

Attaché in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, Mr. Ahmed Gadhban, and Commander of the Logistics Training Centre, Colonel Dragan Ljubić, attended the opening of the course.
