Anniversaries of Deaths of Mišić, Bojović and Sturm

The anniversary of deaths of Marshals Živojin Mišić and Petar Bojović and Army General Pavle Jurišić Sturm was marked today at New Cemetery in Belgrade.

The state ceremony on that occasion was led by State Secretary in the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs NegovanStanković, and as its part the flowers and wreaths were laid at the graves by Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General LjubišaDiković, accompanied by representatives of the armed forces and Ministry of Defence, and by representatives of the City of Belgrade, descendants of the renowned warlords, and representatives of great number of associations that cherish tradition and by citizens as well.
 
Marshal Živojin Mišić and Marshal Petar Bojović and Army General Pavle Jurišić Sturm participated in Serbian-Turkish Wars(1876-1878), Serbian-Bulgarian War 1885, the Balkan Wars and in the First World War.
 
All three of them died in Belgrade, Mišićon 20th January 1921, Bojovićon 19th January 1945, and Army General PavleJurišićSturm died on 14th January 1922.
