Chief of General Staff visits participants in Slavic Brotherhood 2016

General Ljubisa Dikovic, Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff, reviewed the activities at Combined Arms Training Ground Pasuljanske livade, accompanied by Army Commander Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic and the associates.

The third day of the Multinational military exercise Slavic Brotherhood 2016 was marked by practicing of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and Belarus in three locations, at Pasuljanske livade, Oresac and Batajnica airport.

After practicing of units in tactical operations and procedures on the theme of mechanized company in the attack, preliminary firing with 60-millimeter mortars and "fagot" anti-tank launcher was carried out during the morning.
 
Continuing the exercise, they practiced flight activities followed by live firing from helicopters by unguided rocket shells and engaging ground targets by anti-tank missiles, performed by the crews of Mi-8 and gamma helicopters.
 
Wishing units successful performance of tasks, General Ljubisa Dikovic expressed his satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise and stressed that the anti-terrorist operation of the three armies requires the latest methods and serious work.
 
At the Oresac direct fire engagement system, during the morning, a helicopter air assault of the three armies was conducted, as well as practicing of the mixed teams for the fight against terrorists on the ground with live firing. Live firing on the theme "Platoon in the attack" was conducted as well.
 
At the Batajnica airport, members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducted preparation of BMD-2 APCs for assault operation.
