Chief of General Staff, Italian Army Visits Serbian Armed Forces

The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović, has talked today in Belgrade with the Chief of the Italian Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Salvatore Farina, who is visiting our country.

During the meeting, the generals discussed current security challenges in the region, the activities of military-military cooperation between the two countries and the possibilities for its improvement, as well as the essential and comprehensive development of the defence relations in the future.

General Farina visited the Army Command yesterday, where he talked with the Army Commander, Lieutenant General Milosav Simović about the possibilities for enhancing the cooperation of the two land forces and visited the memorial room of that operational component of the Serbian Armed Forces.

During his stay in our country, general Farina had an opportunity to attend a display of some elements of training and equipment of the 3rd Army Brigade and the Mixed Artillery Brigade in “Mija Stanimirović” barracks in Niš.
