A Visit to the United States of America

Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, is paying a three-day visit to the United States of America, upon the invitation of the U.S. Department of Defense to attend the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Transition Ceremony.

Following the ceremony at the Fort Myers military base in Arlington, where General Mark Milley assumed the duty, General Mojsilovic congratulated the new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States on his appointment and exchanged views on bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and the United States.

In continuation of his visit, Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces met with Chief of the U.S. National Guard Bureau, General Joseph Lengyel to discuss the current political and security situation in the world and bilateral military cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, focusing on the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard.

During his stay in the United States, General Mojsilović also had a meeting with Congressman Steven Stivers.
