Visit by Commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command Europe

Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilovic, received today the Commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command Europe, Major General David Tabor, who is visiting the Republic of Serbia upon the invitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
 
The current situation in the region and the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the U.S. Armed Forces were discussed at the meeting, with special reference to the possibilities for improving the cooperation of special units.

Afterwards, General Tabor visited the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, where he attended a demonstration of part of the training.

This is General Tabor's second visit to the Republic of Serbia in the last six months. Previously, in September 2020, he attended the ceremony marking the anniversary of the "Halliard" mission in Pranjani.
