CBRN Disinfection Stations in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš

Throughout the Republic of Serbia, CBRN units of the Serbian Armed Forces continue their engagement in implementing measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus infection.

At the temporary hospitals in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš, CBRN members have also established disinfection stations, where the largest number of these units’ members is engaged.

Decontamination sections have been deployed at the Belgrade Fair, with the task of disinfecting medical and other personnel working within Hall 1, and the disinfection of all access roads and surfaces is conducted, as well.

A disinfection station has also been established in Novi Sad, where CBRN members are disinfecting medical and non-medical personnel working with patients at the Novi Sad Fair temporary hospital. The same team is engaged in the disinfection of other areas around the Fair.

Two sections have been engaged in the disinfection station set up in front of the Čair Sports Hall in Niš, where a temporary hospital is also located to accommodate patients with COVID-19. Today, a temporary point will be set up in the form of a disinfection station at the entrance to the Clinical Center Niš.

As in the previous days, more mobile teams have been working in different directions with the task of providing preventive disinfection of communications and public areas. CBRN members have also disinfected roads and public areas in Svrljig, Aleksinac and Kruševac, and two teams are engaged in the same task in Leskovac.

During the realization of disinfection tasks, all CBRN tasks are carried out with the utmost respect of all general and special protection measures in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus infection.
