Gun Salute on the Ocassion of Serbian Armed Forces Day

On the occasion of the Serbian Armed Forces Day – 23rd April, gun salute was fired from Savska Terasa on Kalemegdan, which was attended by Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilović.

After national anthem “Bože Pravde” had been played and state flag raised, an order of the President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić was read which was followed by 10 artillery volleys fired from six artillery weapons of the Guard of the Serbian Armed Forces.
 
The minister evaluated the displayed effort, skill and level of training of the members of the Guard as “very well”.
 
The traditional celebration of marking the Serbian Armed Forces Day was attended by numerous citizens, whose exaltation, apart from ten simultaneous volleys, was increased by the Guard Parade Orchestra, which played “March to the Drina river” and other well-known melodies.
