SAF team for protection of ships arrives in Djibouti

The first team of autonomous Serbian Armed Forces to protect ships in the mission Atalanta arrived last night in Djibouti. A few hours earlier, the plane of the Serbian Air Force landed in the French military base in the same city, with weapons and equipment necessary to accomplish the mission.

The first team of autonomous Serbian Armed Forces to protect ships in the mission Atalanta arrived last night in Djibouti. A few hours earlier, the plane of the Serbian Air Force landed in the French military base in the same city, with weapons and equipment necessary to accomplish the mission.

The crew leader, Major Milan Malović and the vanguard of our forces from the Peacekeeping Operations Centre, organized the operation of unloading and storage of military equipment, with the support and assistance of French officers and soldiers stationed at the base.

Preparations are underway for taking the office aboard the ship "Caroline Scan".
