Basic Training of Soldiers of "December 2021"Generation

Intensive individual training of soldiers who started their voluntary military service at the beginning of this month is underway in the Serbian Armed Forces training centres in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
As part of basic training, soldiers undergo various contents from fire and tactical training and are trained to use personal weapons and equipment, provide first aid, perform duties of internal service bodies and improve their physical abilities on a daily basis.
The focus of the training in this period is the practice of individual tactical actions of soldiers, orientation in space, camouflage and movement in winter terrain, as well as overcoming various obstacles in smoke limited-visibility battlefields.
What follows is firing from infantry weapons and, then, the evaluation, during which the level of soldiers’ training to perform basic military tasks will be tested.
Soldiers on military service of the "December 2021" generation are expected to take the military oath at the end of the week and then officially join the ranks of those who are ready to guard and defend the Republic of Serbia.
