Since the beginning of this week, in cooperation with the municipality of Sjenica, members of the Army engineering units have been carrying out work on the provision of technical water in the villages of Buđevo, Doliće, Raždaginja and Crvsko.

The activity is implemented as a civil-military cooperation project of the Serbian Armed Forces, with the aim of creating conditions for the residents of these villages to water their livestock in the summer period, with which they had serious problems in previous years due to the severe droughts that affected this part of the country.

For the purpose of this task, the Serbian Armed Forces have engaged an engineering working group that, with the help of suitable machines, excavates new and arranges and cleans existing livestock watering holes.

The engineers of the Serbian Armed Forces have an excellent feedback from the locals, who are thankful for the help and dedicated work and point out that such activities contribute to citizens perceiving the Serbian Armed Forces as a trustworthy partner that they can rely on when they need help the most.

The Serbian Armed Forces has previously provided assistance to the population of villages on the Pešter Plateau, and also in other parts of our country. They have helped many times in the construction of roads and water pipes, clearing snow drifts, water supply and health care of the local population, and will continue to do so in the future in order to strengthen mutual trust and create conditions for a better life of the citizens of Serbia.
