Oath-Taking Ceremony of Soldiers on Military Service

A military ceremony was held today in the barracks "Vojvoda Živojin Mišić" in Valjevo on the occasion of taking the oath of the December class of soldiers on military service and candidates on Air Force and Air Defence NCOs Course.
Saying the oath in front of the flag of the Republic of Serbia, they undertook to preserve and defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
The military oath-taking ceremony was attended by the Minister of Defence, Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković, relatives and friends of young soldiers, representatives of organizational units of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, local government and religious communities.
After taking the oath, the soldiers will have individual and collective training and active involvement in the life and work of the units of the Serbian Armed Forces. Experience shows that many of them will join the ranks of the Serbian Armed Forces professional personnel after completing their military service.
