Training in MP Units

In the Army MP Battalions, serving personnel are currently receiving training in counter-terrorist combat actions.
These actions are the most complex activities the SAF MP units could be tasked with, and that is why special attention is paid to training, which is highly complex and demanding. The aim is to provide military policemen and units with sufficient skills so that they could come through high-risk counter-terrorist assignments successfully.
During the training activity which takes place at training and exercise areas for several days, MP units refine the tactics, techniques and procedures applied in blockading and destroying a terrorist group, from obtaining intelligence to a successful accomplishment of the task using manpower, MWD and special vehicles.
Such training increases additionally the combat capabilities of MP units, which are specially equipped and skilled to carry out a diverse range of MP missions and general-security assignments in the MOD and SAF.
