on the occasion of November 16 — Day of the Army
I extend my congratulations to all members of the Army on November 16 — Day of Service.
Celebrating the 107th anniversary of Army existence, as members of the service of the Serbian Armed Forces with the longest tradition, in spite of complex conditions in which you work, your units have completed many tasks before them this year, achieved significant results in training and professional development and succeeded in maintaining the required level of operational capabilities.
Regardless of numerous challenges and provocations, in the year behind us you have succeeded in providing peace and stability at the south of Serbia by serving your homeland in the most professional way, especially in keeping the administrative line with Kosovo and Metohija safe, proving once more that you are one of the most significant factors of modern military organization and that citizens of the Republic of Serbia can be at peace, because Serbian Armed Forces are with them wherever they are.
I congratulate you on your holiday, confident that in the following period, with modernization and upgrading of your Service units, you will continue to fulfill assigned tasks professionally and with quality.
