Stationary Camping of Participants in the Basic Course for Non-commissioned Officers

At the military complex "Peskovi" near Požarevac, a stationary camp for the participants of the 18th class of the Basic Course for non-commissioned officers was conducted, who are being trained and qualified to command a group, team and section.
In the course so far, participants have acquired knowledge on leadership and command, training management, general tactics, and passed physical and fire training on ranges, in offices and on training fields.
Under the watchful eye of instructors from the Center for Training and Development of Non-Commissioned Officers "Milunka Savić", future non-commissioned officers conducted live shooting, movement on unknown terrain with the help of a map and a hand compass, with orientation in space and overcoming various obstacles. The aim of the training is to acquire the necessary military-professional knowledge and skills for commanding tactical units of the rank of the section in performing basic tactical actions.
The participants of the course are expected to undergo professional training and then a working practice in the units of the Serbian Armed Forces. Those who successfully complete the Basic Course for Non-Commissioned Officers will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and assigned to the corresponding non-commissioned officer duties in the units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
