The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, today received officers who, after completing the General Staff Course, were assigned to duties in the commands and units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Congratulating them on their success and appointment to new duties, he pointed out that officers who have completed the highest level of military professional development courses are expected to make a significant contribution towards improving the operational and functional capabilities of the commands and units in which they are going to serve and to set the best example for younger officers.
General Mojsilović introduced the General Staff officers to the most important tasks facing the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as to the key plans and development projects aimed at further strengthening of capabilities, the success of which will largely depend on the expertise, initiative and professional attitude of officers at all levels of command.
General Staff Course represents the third level of special officer career development programmes, and it is implemented to prepare officers for command in brigade-level tactical units and performing higher command and staff duties and other tasks in operational-level commands and organisational units of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff and the Ministry of Defence.
