Reception of CBRN Delegation

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Major General Petar Cvetković, received today the delegation of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Service, on the occasion of 28 September — the Day of this service of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Congratulating the holiday, General Cvetković commended the CBRN members for their work results and responsible and quality execution of tasks, especially emphasizing their dedicated and professional engagement in the suppression and prevention of the COVID 19 pandemic.
The Day of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Service is celebrated on September 28, in memory of the day when, in 1932, the first regular unit of chemical protection was formed - Gunpowder Battalion, within the "Obilićevo" Institute in Kruševac.
