Demining Course for Medical Training Instructors

Demining course for medical training instructors is conducted this week in “Ratko Pavlović Ćićko” barracks in Prokuplje, supported by the US Office of Defence Cooperation in Belgrade.
The goal of the five-day course, attended by NCOs on medical duties within the Serbian Armed Forces, is qualifying for independent conduct of training for medical care of the injured during humanitarian demining.
The focus is on practical training of techniques and procedures applied during first aid and emergency medical care of the injured from explosions and fragments of explosive devices, as well as during medical evacuation from contaminated area.
This course continues successful cooperation with the US Armed Forces in the field of humanitarian demining and contributes to further improvement of training of the Serbian Armed Forces medical corps personnel.
