Training of Soldiers of Air Defence Artillery and Missile Units

At the training areas, intensive training of the "March 2021" generation of soldiers, who are being trained for the specialties within the Air Defence artillery and missile units, is being conducted.
The training is conducted on simulators and "Strela-10M" Air Defence missile systems, which are intended for direct protection of units from actions in the airspace. As a part of the training, tactical and fire procedures of marching crews, masking, occupying firing position and calculation of elements for shooting targets in the airspace are practiced.
The training programme in this period also includes contents from tactical, fire and physical training, and the soldiers are involved in the execution of daily tasks of the units to which they are assigned.
This generation of soldiers performing military service also shows great interest and motivation during the training, so it can be expected that many of them will start their career as professional soldiers of the Serbian Armed Forces after the completion of their military service.
