Visit to Members of Serbian Armed Forces in Ground Safety Zone

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Đuro Macut, visited today the members of the Serbian Armed Forces deployed in the Ground Safety Zone.
The tour began at the base "Karaula" with the Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, while they continued the tour together with the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, and visited the soldiers and officers at the base "Merdare".
During the tour, they had the opportunity to talk to the members of the Serbian Armed Forces, learn about the current situation on the field, and gain insight into the accommodation facilities and supporting infrastructure that have improved living and working conditions at these two bases.
Minister Gašić expressed his gratitude to the members of the Serbian Armed Forces for their professional work in the Ground Safety Zone, pointing out that the renovation and modernisation of military infrastructure represents an investment in improving the living and working conditions of the members who perform the most responsible tasks on a daily basis.

Their dedication and professionalism oblige us to continue improving the living and working conditions at the bases. Modern infrastructure, better quality accommodation and better working conditions remain one of our priorities, because people are the greatest strength of the defence system — said the Minister of Defence.
