With the support of Air Force and Air Defence units, battle teams from the Brigade are carrying out tasks on the move and practicing the conduct of special operations as part of an offensive operation.

According to the defined scenario, the unit’s personnel has landed from a plane and a helicopter, and then they practiced tactical procedures for occupying key enemy facilities, as well as artillery fire guidance and reconnaissance.

The paratroopers are using state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment with which the unit has been equipped in recent years, as part of a great capability enhancement cycle of the Serbian Armed Forces’ special forces, in compliance with lessons learned from contemporary armed conflicts.

The Serbian Armed Forces’ special forces have been assigned an important role in the “Victor 2026” exercise, as their flexibility, speed, high level of competence and advanced equipment enable them to be employed for tasks of strategic importance with minimal use of resources.
