4th Army Brigade Howitzer Artillery Battalion on Exercise

Members of the 4th Army Brigade Self-Propelled Howitzer Artillery Battalion executed a live-fire tactical exercise at "Pasuljanske Livade" Training Ground.
It took several days to perform training-ground activities during which the 122-mm self-propelled howitzer 2S1 "Gvozdika" crews practiced combat actions and procedures while providing artillery support to Brigade units on operation. The exercise was preceded by intensive individual and collective training as well as firing practices and tests.
Reconnaissance and occupation of the fire position, camouflage, target identification, timely introduction of an artillery unit into the battle, organization of artillery fire are only part of the complex artillery training rehearsed and examined at the exercise.
Very good and excellent exercise and live-firing results are proof of the quality training delivered in the 4th Army Brigade Battalion and its ability to complete the tasks it was intended for.
