At the Army Training Centre in Požarevac, this week, there has been an evaluation of skills of soldiers on voluntary military service, June 2022 intake, whose first training period lasts for four months.

The examination involved the M-84 tank and IFV M-80A gunners and scouts, whose individual specialist training is two weeks longer due to the type of military duties they are trained for, so as to master successfully all the contents stipulated in the curriculum.

During the two-day exam of their skills, soldiers have carried out diverse tactical missions and showed practically the acquired knowledge and skills in handling the branch-specific weapons and knowing the assets and equipment of SAF armored and scout units. The excellent and very good results they have scored indicate that training has been well-planned and performed and that soldiers have completely lived up to the required training standards needed to perform specialty-related tasks.

Further on, they are to attend scout and gunner collective training in SAF units where they will be able to upgrade the obtained knowledge and participate actively in performing their daily tasks.
