Humanitarian Action of Serbian Peacekeepers in Bangui

Thursday, 25.2.2021 | Multinational Operations
Members of the Serbian Armed Forces contingent in the United Nations mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) have organized a humanitarian action in the orphanage "Mother Teresa" in the capital Bangui.

Serbian peacekeepers have collected food, sweets, school and hygiene supplies, as well as towels, pillows and blankets for the wards of this institution. Nevertheless, most of the smiles on the faces of the children have been elicited by the futsal goals and see-saws, which the Serbian peacekeepers made for them.

The wards of the orphanage have prepared interesting art and cultural activities for the members of the Serbian Armed Forces contingent, and the socializing continued in a warm atmosphere, with play and laughter.

In the end, the hosts have thanked the Serbian Armed Forces members for the donation, wished them good health and safe return to their homes, with a promise to mention them in their prayers.
