Intensive Training and Live-Fire Drills with Newly Introduced Weapons

Intensive training and live-fire drills involving modern Serbian Armed Forces weapons and military equipment are currently underway at the “Pasuljanske Livade” Training Ground. The systems were procured or modernised in the preceding period and are either already in operational use or in the final stages of introduction into service.
The live-fire drills involve members of the Army, the Air Force and Air Defence, and the Serbian Armed Forces’ special forces, as well as institutes subordinated to the Ministry of Defence’s Material Resources Sector.
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović attended the final-stage activities at the training ground today. On this occasion, he reviewed the units’ level of training, the organisation of activities in the field, and preparations for the capabilities display scheduled for Sunday, 28 June, when the public will be presented with the results of the intensive process of equipping and modernisation, as well as the high level of training of the Serbian Armed Forces.
He expressed satisfaction with the level of training and motivation of Serbian Armed Forces personnel and with the demonstrated capabilities of the newly introduced and modernised systems. Their introduction into operational use has enabled the Serbian Armed Forces to enhance their existing capabilities and develop new ones.
Earlier today, General Mojsilović visited the “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović” Military Airfield in Batajnica, where preparations are underway for the display of the weapons and systems participating in the live-fire drills, as well as the ordnance being used this week to engage ground and aerial targets at the “Pasuljanske Livade” Training Ground.
