Visit to Permanently Engaged Airspace Control and Protection Forces

Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited permanently engaged SAF forces responsible for the control and protection of the Serbian airspace.
During the visit, the Minister of Defence had an opportunity to see the organization of command over these forces and the ability of Air Force and Air Defence units to protect and ensure the sovereignty and inviolability of our country’s airspace in all weather conditions, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
On this occasion, Minister Vučević was briefed about the new capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces achieved through the recent introduction of modern combat systems into operational use, which has considerably improved the capability of the Air Force and Air Defence for carrying out primary tasks.
