The candidates who have fulfilled all the requirements for the vacant positions announced in May last year and who have successfully mastered the first training module for the NCO positions in the Serbian Armed Forces are undergoing this training.

In this module, future Air Force and Air Defence non-commissioned officers are acquiring the necessary military knowledge and skills for proper and safe command of section- level units, thus meeting requirements for professional training at the Air Force and Air Defence Training Centre.

The last phase of the training is carried out in the SAF units, where the candidates are trained for the duties of technicians for aircraft engines, weapons and equipment, operators of radar and missile systems and general aviation duties.

The course for Air Force and Air Defence non-commissioned officers lasts for six months and comprises two basic modules, a specialist module and an internship module. Candidates who successfully master all modules will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and join Air Force and Air Defence professional members personnel.
