Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has hosted a reception for the best SAF competitors at 10,000 meters hurdles held last week at Beranovac Training Ground near Kraljevo.

The most successful competitors at this demanding race were recognized by General Mojsilović for their motivation, physical and mental strength, underscoring the importance of such contests for promoting competitive spirit, fair play and sport in the SAF which plays a critical part in preparing soldiers for battle.

At this year’s contest, the first one to cross the finish line of the 10km track with 24 hurdles was Staff Sergeant 1st Class Dalibor Anđelković from the River Flotilla, whereas the winner of the women's competition was Army Civilian Bojana Marić from the 1st Training Centre.

This year, the 10,000 meters hurdles race has been held for the first time involving participation from SAF personnel and Military Academy cadets. Hopefully, it will become a traditional military sports competition.
