Services provided by Technical Test Centre

Technical Test Centre provides numerous services both for the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and the users that are not a part of Defence System.

Types of services provided by Technical Test Centre are as follows:

  • Testing armaments and military equipment,
  • Testing, inspection, certification of technical products, as well as calibration and inspection of measuring equipment,
  • Services performed upon authoritization given by relevenat ministries and agencies,
  • Issuing certificates and statements for EMC.

Testing of Armaments and Military Equipment


Armaments Testing


Armaments Testing includes:

  • Testing of conventional weapons,
  • Testing of missile weaponry,
  • Testing of aircraft integrated weapons,
  • Testing of all types of naval weapons.

During firing practice, the following is being conducted using different measuring equipment:

  • All balistic weaponry measurements (stress, strain, velocity and acceleration of weapon components during firing, etc.),
  • Projectile trajectory recording,
  • Fire rate measurement of tested weapons,
  • Measuring the effects of penetration and effects of all types of ammunition,
  • Measuring the precision and firing accuracy (range and distribution of hits),
  • Measuring the parameters of guided missiles systems.
 

Electronic Systems Testing


Testing of military electronic systems includes:

  • Testing of military telecommunication systems,
  • Testing of devices for data transfer protection,
  • Testing of devices for jamming and reconnaissance within HF, VHF and UHF range,
  • Testing of radar systems,
  • Testing of antenna characteristics,
  • Testing of electric power characteristics of devices,
  • Testing of other systems in the field of electronics and automatics.

Testing of military optoelectronic systems includes:

  • Testing of optical, optoelectronic and optomechanical sighting and surveillance devices,
  • Testing of night vision surveillance and driving devices,
  • Testing of thermal imaging equipment,
  • Testing of laser devices,
  • Testing of assets for tehnical safety of facilities and space.

Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing

Testing environmental effects (climatic and mechanical influence, tightness, corrosive effect of the atmosphere, microbiological influence – fungus).
 

Testing of Moto-technical and Naval Assets


Testing of moto-mechanical and naval assets includes:

  • Combat and non-combat vehicles, passanger cars and trucks, road vehucles and SUVs, motor vehicles and trailers,
  • Special vehicles and superstructures,
  • Measuring mechanical quantities by electric means,
  • Agricultural machinery and tractors,
  • Internal combustion engines,
  • Process engineering,
  • Maneuvering characteristcs of combat, non-combat and other vessels,
  • Measuring absorbed propeller power,
  • Measuring and analysing linear and torsional vibrations,
  • Diving equipment and diving support system (decompression chamber, diving bell, etc.).
 

Testing of Aircrafts and Air Assets


Testing of aircrafts and air assets includes:

  • Determining aircraft flight characteristics,
  • Testing of special electronic and electrical equipment in aircrafts
  • Testing of the characteristcs of all types of aviation armaments, aviation ammunition and targets,
  • Testing of aircraft power units,
  • Testing of all types of parachutes,
  • Paragliders testing,
  • Determining the characteristcs of passive interference (IC and anti-radar decoys),
  • Testing ground aviation and technical resources,
  • Measuring the external aircraft noise using standard ICAO Annex 16,
  • Testing of UAVs,
  • Testing of flight safety equipment,
  • Training of test pilots, and
  • Demonstrating the maneuring capabilities of an aircraft,
 

Metrology services


Technical Test Centre is in possesion of three primary metrology laboratories:

  • Primary metrology laboratory for basic electrical values,
  • Primary metrology laboratory for microwave and optoelectronic technology, and
  • Primary metrology laboratory for non-electrical values.

These calibration laboratories are accredited by the Accreditation Board of Serbia (АТS) in accordance with the requirements of SRPS ISO/IEC 17025.

Testing, Inspection and Certification of Technical Products, and Calibration and Inspection of Measuring Equipment


Testing and Certification


Testing and certification services include:

  • Testing and certification of protection helmets in the industry,
  • Testing of helmets for motor vehicles drivers and paratroopers,
  • Testing and certification of helmets for firefighters,
  • Testing and certification of manual and transportable fire extinguishers,
  • EMC testing of industrial, scientific and medical radio devices,
  • EMC testing of IT equipment,
  • EMC testing of household appliances, electric tools and similar apparatus,
  • EMC testing of radio interference characteristics of vehicles, boats and machinery driven by internal combustion engines.
 

Control


Control services include:

  • Controlling security and technical characteristics of motor vehicles and trailers for transport of dangerous goods,
  • Controlling the size, total weight and axle load of vehicles and trailers of motor vehicles,
  • Controlling the noise in the environment,
  • Controlling work space lighting.
 

Calibration and Inspection of Measuring Equipment


Calibration and inspection of measuring equipment include:
 
  • Calibration of electrical measures (DC voltage, electrical capacitance, electrical inductance, ratio of DC voltage, ratio of AC voltage, AC/DC transfer, high-voltage components, distortion, radio frequency measuring),
  • Calibration of frequency time,
  • Calibration of mechanical measuresе (vibration),
  • Calibration of acoustic measures (sound pressure),
  • Calibration of space measures (length),
  • Calibration of thermodynamic measures (temperature).

Services Provided upon the Authorization Given by Relevant Ministries and Agencies


Services Authorized by the Road Traffic Safety Agency

 
On the grounds of the authorization given by the Road Traffic Safety Agency, Technical Test Centre performs homologation tests and conformity control homologation testing of vehicles in relation to EMC, in accordance with the Regulation on the vehicles homolgation tests (Official Gazette FRY No. 51/98) and the provisions of regulations EIECE 324 EIECE TRANS 505 Add.9/Rev.3, which refer to uniform regulations about homologation of vehicles in relation to EMC.
 

Services authorized by Jugoregistar


On the grounds of the said authorization, Technical Test Centre provides the following:
 
  • Measuring and analysis of the absorbed power,
  • Measuring and analysis of torque of ship propulsion machinery,
  • Measuring and analysis of torsional vibration of shaft lines,
  • Measuring and analysis of linear vibrations of hull, machinery and equipment,
  • Measuring and analysis of ship maneuvering characteristics,
  • Measuring the speed of rotating parts and assemblies,
  • Measuring the amount of gas flow,
  • Measuring force from 400N to 3600N,
  • Measuring temperature from -20C to 400C,
  • Measuring the flow of liquid fluids fromn300l/h to6000 l/h,
  • Testing and recording characteristics of real-time analysis of various parameters of internal combustion engines of1100kW,
  • Testing of pumps,
  • Cakibration of transducers in authorized laboratories,
  • Certification of portable fire extinguishers,
  • Measuring the insulation resistance of a generator, motor and cable routes,
  • Measuring light intensity,
  • Recording noise intensity,
  • Testing and measuring of EMC,
  • Verification and valaidation of softwer,
  • Special tests upon Jugoregistar request.

Services Provided by a Document Issued by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy and a Licence Given to the Ministry of Defence

 
On the grounds of the above, Technical Test Centre performs inspection and testing of working equipment.

Issuing Certificates and Statements for EMC


Upon a document issued by the Ministry of economics and regional development (No. 021-03-185/2011-08 from March 12, 2012), Technical Test Centre has been named a body responsible for assessing the level of harmonization for the following equipment encompassed by Regulations on electromagnetic compatibility:

  • IT equipment,
  • Machines driven by internal combustion engines,
  • Industrial and scientific radio-frequency devices,
  • Household appliances, electric equipment and similar apparatus.
