Youngest Soldiers Passed First Skills Assessment Successfully

An assessment of basic individual skills of soldiers who started voluntary military service in September this year has been conducted at the Serbian Armed Forces training centers in Sombor and Leskovac.
This is the first evaluation of skills of the latest class of soldiers, carried out in order to determine their ability to perform independently tactical actions and procedures on the battlefield, handle weapons and military equipment properly, and perform the service and guard duties.
During the check-up, the soldiers were required to fulfill tactical assignments, for which they needed to apply knowledge and skills acquired in the previous month and a half of their training, and the achieved results indicate that they have fully mastered the required training standards.
Over the rest of their military service, soldiers will be trained to use combat assets and military equipment of their branch / service at specialized training centers, in order to prepare for the final phase — collective training in the Serbian Armed Forces’ units.
Soldiers who are interested in joining professional military service have the opportunity to apply for it now, go through the prescribed procedure in a timely manner and meet the requirements to join the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces immediately after completing their military service.
