Specialist training for members of the Armed Forces of Montenegro has been carried out at the Serbian Armed Forces’ CBRN Training Center in Kruševac this week, using highly toxic live agents.

Under the expert supervision of instructors from our center, during the five-day training, officers and soldiers from Montenegro practiced the tactics that members of the CBRN service apply in a contaminated environment.

Practical training was carried out at the Training Ground “Ravnjak” and in specialized laboratories at the “Car Lazar” Barracks, which provide all conditions for practicing procedures and protective measures during chemical detection, decontamination of soil and facilities, and sampling of live agents.

By participating in this training, the CBRN Service specialists from Montenegro improved their knowledge about live agents and protective measures and became qualified to do practical work in an environment contaminated with these substances.

In addition to training all categories of permanent and reserve personnel of the Serbian Armed Forces and representatives of specialized civil institutions, the CBRN Training Center provides training for members of foreign armed forces several times a year. Wide international interest in training at our center is another confirmation of the expertise of the instructor staff and the quality of training in the Serbian Armed Forces in the CBRN field.
