The command and units of the Mixed Artillery Brigade have conducted Computer Assisted Simulation Exercise “Fire Strike 2025” this week.

The exercise was carried out at the Simulation Training Center in Belgrade with the aim of improving the Brigade’s ability to plan, organize and provide artillery-missile support of the Serbian Armed Forces in combat operations.

In accordance with the assigned scenario, in a simulated operational environment, staff procedures in the process of making military decisions were practiced and tactical scenarios that the Brigade could expect during the execution of operations were carried out. An important segment was the training and verification of artillery firearms skills using remotely piloted and unmanned aircraft.

Knowledge of the principles behind the use of artillery and missile units and assets, interoperability with other units in the Area of Operation, and cooperation with civilian elements were also checked.

Computer Assisted Simulation Exercises represent an important form of practical training for commands in the Serbian Armed Forces, since they provide an opportunity for staff officers and commands to train themselves in planning and executing combat operations with minimum expenditure of material resources.
