Exercise of the 250th Missile Brigade “Serbian Shield 2025”

The “Serbian Shield 2025” Exercise is underway at the Serbian Armed Forces Simulation Training Centre, where the Command of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade and its directly subordinate units are being trained in planning, organizing and conducting operations.
In accordance with the scenario, in a simulated operational environment, staff procedures and tactics are practiced in the phase of operation execution on the modern battlefield, countering the latest-generation aircraft, remotely piloted and unmanned aircraft.
The focus is on a comprehensive approach to carrying out complex tasks in different tactical conditions. Along with the daily analysis of work of the command in the decision-making process at all levels of command, knowledge of the principles governing the use of units and assets, as well as interoperability and cooperation with other forces and entities in the operation, is being checked.
The exercise leadership prepared the scenario and the list of main events so that the successful implementation of tasks during the exercise requires a wide range of knowledge and skills, pronounced creativity and commanders’ and staff officers’ ability to think critically.
Computer-assisted exercises represent an important form of practical training for the Serbian Armed Forces commands because they provide an opportunity for commands and staff officers to train themselves in planning and executing combat operations, spending the minimum amount of material resources.
