On the occasion of the continuation of arming the so-called “Kosovo Security Forces”, this time with Turkish drones “SKYDAGGER RTF 15”, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, had an urgent telephone conversation with KFOR Commander, Major General Özkan Ulutaş.

In a conversation with KFOR Commander, General of the Turkish Armed Forces, who began his second mandate as Head of the International Security Forces in Kosovo and Metohija a few days ago, General Mojsilović expressed a strong protest against the continuation of arming the so-called “Kosovo Security Forces” and brutal violation of UNSC Resolution 1244 and the Military Technical Agreement.

The Chief of the General Staff has indicated that such moves represent a very bad signal and threaten not only the security situation in Kosovo and Metohija, but also the entire region of the Western Balkans.

He has reiterated that, in accordance with international law, the UN Resolution and all other signed agreements the Republic of Serbia sees KFOR as the only legitimate armed formation in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija and once again requested that the international forces consistently and impartially implement their mandate and provide a safe environment and the freedom of movement for everyone, and, above all, for the Serbian community in our southern province.
