Visit by Commander of Bulgarian Army Land Forces

The Army Commander, Lieutenant General Milosav Simović talked yesterday in Niš with the Commander of the Land Forces of the Bulgarian Army, Major General Mikhail Dmitrov Popov who has visited our army.

At the meeting, they discussed the further development of cooperation between land forces of Serbia and Bulgaria, opportunities for improving joint training, as well as probable forms of collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

Commanders of the two land forces also addressed the upcoming joint exercises and shooting at training grounds in Serbia and Bulgaria. After the meeting, general Popov with his associates visited the Army Command Memorial Room.

Today, generals Simović and Popov attended a friendly football match between the teams of land forces of Serbia and Bulgaria in the Base South near Bujanovac.

Earlier today, the football team visited the memorial room and chaplain service premises of the 4th Army Brigade, the House of Bora Stanković and the exhibition “78 Photographs” at the House of the Serbian Armed Forces in Vranje, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the NATO aggression on FR Yugoslavia.
