Minister Rodic at Special Brigade encampment

Nebojsa Rodic, Minister of Defence in the caretaker government, made an unannounced inspection and control of the Special Brigade, whose units have been on a camping trip for several days and are currently in the region of Divcibare. Brigadier General Jelesije Radivojevic, Special Brigade Commander reported to the Minister of Defence about the task that the brigade has been performing.

Brigadier General Jelesije Radivojevic, Special Brigade Commander reported to the Minister of Defence about the task that the brigade has been performing.

Minister Rodic commended the members of the Special Brigade on their work, stressing the importance of that unit in the defence system. He underlined that the Special Force members should, whenever possible, go out of the barracks and in real conditions, in the field, check and improve their level of training. The Minister underlined that the lack of money should not jeopardize the functioning of that elite unit of the Serbian Armed Forces.

General Radivojevic stressed that members of the Brigade are motivated and willing to continuously improve the level of work and training.

Minister Rodic accompanied by General Radivojevic inspected the areas of deployment of units and talked to their members.

In the following days the Special Brigade continues with camping trip to complete it with the most complex exercise activities – parachute landing and tactical exercises with live firing.
