Easter Liturgy in Cathedral Church in Belgrade

The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, attended the Easter liturgy in the Cathedral Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Belgrade this morning.

After the service and the traditional egg fight, which symbolizes the triumph of life over death, General Mojsilović discussed the importance of faith and the preservation of spiritual values in modern society with Bishop Nikon of Jenopol and Head of the temple, Protopresbyter-Stavrophore Bogoljub Ostojić, expressing his satisfaction that he had the opportunity to spend the great Christian holiday in the oldest temple in Belgrade.

From the Cathedral, the Chief of the General Staff sent sincere and warm greetings to all citizens of the Republic of Serbia in the country and abroad who celebrate the Feast of Feasts according to the Julian calendar, with the wish to spend the holidays in peace, health and joy, surrounded by their loved ones, and to overcome all temptations and challenges with hope, faith and love.

Members of the collegium of the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff also attended the Easter liturgy in the Cathedral Church.
