President of Republic Issues Decrees on Promotions and Appointments of Serbian Armed Forces Officers

Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, issued decrees on promotions and appointments to new positions of the Serbian Armed Forces officers.
The decrees were handed over today by Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić in the presence of Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović. They congratulated the officers on promotions and appointments to new duties and wished them every success in their professional careers in the future.
Brigadier Generals Mile Vitezović and Željko Furundžić were promoted to the rank of Major General, while Colonels Aleksandar Stupar, Nebojša Nedeljković and Grujica Vuković were promoted to the rank of Brigadier General.
By decree of the President of the Republic, Colonel Jovica Kepčija was appointed as Commander of the 126th ASEWG Brigade.
Major General Mile Vitezović was born on February 06, 1971 in Užice. He has been in professional military service since 1994. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1994, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2008, General Staff Course in 2013, and Advanced Security and Defense Studies in 2023. He is Head of the Telecommunications and IT Directorate (J-6) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
Major General Željko Furundžić was born on December 16, 1974 in Bijelo Polje. He has been in professional military service since 1997. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1997, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2010, and General Staff Course in 2019. He is appointed as Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Guard.
Brigadier General Aleksandar Stupar was born on November 18, 1980 in Ruma. He has been in professional military service since 2004. He graduated from the Military Academy in 2004, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2021 and General Staff Course in 2023. He is appointed as Commander of the 63rd Parachute Brigade.
Brigadier General Nebojša Nedeljković was born on April 11, 1977 in Vranje. He has been in professional military service since 2000. He graduated from the Military Academy in 2000, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2012 and General Staff Course in 2022. He is appointed as Commander of the 2nd Army Brigade.
Brigadier General Grujica Vuković was born on January 02, 1975 in Leskovac. He has been in professional military service since 1997. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1997, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2014, and General Staff Course in 2020. He is Commander of the 4th Army Brigade.
Colonel Jovica Kepčija was born on October 30, 1975 in Sisak. He has been in professional military service since 1998. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1998, and completed the General Staff Course in 2009. He is appointed as Commander of the 126th ASEWG Brigade.
