Computer-Assisted Simulation Exercise of 126th ASEWG Brigade
Tuesday, 31.3.2026 | Training
The command of the 126th ASEWG Brigade with directly subordinate units is conducting the “Spectrum 2026” exercise this week at the Simulation Training Center in Belgrade.
In the multi-day computer assisted simulation exercise, the command staff of the brigade and staff officers and NCOs are trained to plan and implement specific tasks in the Serbian Armed Forces operations in a modern combat environment.
In accordance with the scenario, staff procedures and tactical operations are mainly practiced in the phase of operation execution on the modern battlefield, in conditions of mass use of the latest generation aircraft, remotely piloted and unmanned aircraft.
In addition to the daily analysis of the work of the command in the decision-making process at all levels of command, the knowledge of the principles of the use of ASEWG units, as well as cooperation and interoperability with other forces and entities in the operation, is also checked.
The exercise leadership prepared the scenario and the list of main events so that the successful implementation of the tasks during the exercise requires a wide range of knowledge and skills, a lot of creativity and the ability to think critically.
Computer-assisted simulation exercises represent an important form of practical training for commands in the Serbian Armed Forces because they provide an opportunity for commands and staff officers to train themselves to plan and execute combat operations with a minimal expenditure of material resources.
