Training of Technical Staff for Mi-17 Helicopter Maintenance

Training of technical staff from the 204th Air Force Brigade for the maintenance of Mi-17 helicopters is underway at the military airport "Colonel-pilot Milenko Pavlović" in Batajnica.

One-month training is given to officers and non-commissioned officers of the technical service who are trained for independent work on the maintenance and upkeep of Mi-17 helicopters, as well as candidates for mechanics-pilots, who after the successful completion of this training will continue additional training during flight tasks on this type of aircraft. 

The training program includes theoretical and practical content in the field of maintenance of aircraft engines, electric equipment and equipment for communication, navigation and rescue of pilots, with special emphasis on the technical preparation of aircraft for flying.

Training of technical staff in air force brigades is conducted regularly and is passed by all officers upon admission to the unit in order to ensure a high level of training for maintenance of all types of aircraft and provide the necessary prerequisites for the implementation of assigned tasks of these units.
