Tuesday, 2.6.2026 | International Co-operation
In accordance with the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Spain, specialized training for members of the Spanish Armed Forces using toxic chemicals is conducted at the Serbian Armed Forces’ CBRN Centre.

The training is carried out in specialized laboratories and at the "Ravnjak" range in Kruševac. The aim of the training is to improve knowledge about toxic chemicals and practical training to work in an environment contaminated with these toxic substances.

The focus is on practical work. During the two-week activities, with the expert support of instructors from our Centre, Spanish soldiers and officers will be further trained in chemical detection, sampling of toxic chemicals, and decontamination of soil and facilities.

The training of members of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Spain using real toxic chemicals has been carried out at the CBRN Centre since 2016. The conduct of training for foreign armed forces further strengthens the status of this unit of the Serbian Armed Forces as an internationally recognized centre for education and training in the field of CBRN, and at the same time strengthens bilateral relations with countries whose military personnel is trained in our country.
