Decrees by President of Republic on Promotions and Appointments of Officers

Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, issued decrees on promotions and appointments to new roles of the Serbian Armed Forces’ officers.

The decrees were handed over today by Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić in the presence of Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović. They congratulated the officers on their promotions and appointments to new duties, and wished them success in their future professional careers.

Major General Zoran Nasković was appointed Army commander, while Brigadier General Siniša Stašević was appointed Head of the Training and Doctrine Directorate (J-7) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.

Colonel Dragiša Zlatković, who was appointed Commander of the Training Command, was promoted to the rank of brigadier general; Colonel Stanisav Mijailović and Colonel Aleksandar Milićević were also promoted to the rank of brigadier generals, while Colonel Nebojša Nedeljković was appointed commander of the 2nd Army Brigade.

Major General Zoran Nasković was born in Kosovska Kamenica on 05 July 1971. He has been in professional military service since 1994. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1994, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2006, General Staff Course in 2012, and Advanced Security and Defense Studies in 2021. So far, he has been Commander of the Training Command.

Brigadier General Siniša Stašević was born in Tutin on 17 December 1971. He has been in professional military service since 1994. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1994, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2007, General Staff Course in 2014 and Advanced Security and Defense Studies in 2024. He served as Commander of the 2nd Army Brigade.

Brigadier General Dragiša Zlatković was born in Belgrade on 06 September 1970. He has been in professional military service since 1993. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1993, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2010 and General Staff Course in 2015. So far, he has been Commander of the Signal Brigade.

Brigadier General Stanisav Mijailović was born in Leposavić on 13 September 1971. He has been in professional military service since 1994. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1994, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2012 and General Staff Course in 2017. He is the Head of the Development and Equipment Directorate (J-5) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.

Brigadier General Aleksandar Milićević was born in Kraljevo on 02 August 1971. He has been in professional military service since 1994. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1994, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2010 and General Staff Course in 2017. He serves as Commander of the 98th Air Force Brigade.

Colonel Nebojša Nedeljković was born in Vranje on 11 April 1977. He has been in professional military service since 2000. He graduated from the Military Academy in 2000, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2012 and General Staff Course in 2022. So far, he has been Deputy Commander of the 2nd Army Brigade.

The President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander also signed the decrees terminating the professional military service, by force of law with the right to pension, of former Army Commander, Lieutenant General Milosav Simović, and Head of the Training and Doctrine Directorate (J-7) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Brigadier General Muharem Fazlić.
